JUST A NOTE FOR MBRA MEMBERS:  WE HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW MEMBERS ENTER THE RODEO AND THEN TURN OUT.  IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT THAT YOU CALL WELL IN ADVANCE BECAUSE THERE ARE OTHER MEMBERS ON THE WAITING LIST THAT WOULD LIKE TO RIDE AND COULD RIDE IF YOU CALLED AND NOTIFIED US OF YOUR TURN OUT.  WE UNDERSTAND THAT SOMETIMES THERE ARE SITUATIONS THAT YOU CAN'T CALL BUT IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED BY US AND THE OTHER MEMBERS IF YOU WOULD PLEASE CALL.  IF THIS CONTINUES TO BE A PROBLEM THEN WE WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE ACTION.

NOTES FROM DEBBIE

This will be your last newsletter from me.  The Cowboy’s Digest is our official newsletter and all the entry info., results and standings will be published in that paper.  If you need a subscription you can send $18.00 to:  Cowboy’s Digest, PO Box 97, Laurel, MT  59044.

As noted above, our state finals is tentatively set for September 11th at Ronan Fairgrounds.  I will send each member a sponsor packet in another couple of months.  Last year we had several members that were very beneficial in making our finals a success.  It would be great when you get the packets if each member could try to get a sponsorship/donation towards the finals.  As the members know, we try to give nice awards to everybody and the finals/play day were a lot of funJ

Also, once again each state association must bring $1200.00 to the Northwest Miniature Bull Riding Finals.  Last year our association was able to contribute to that from money made at our finals.  We will do so again this year but we don’t know how much we will make so if you have any ideas on raising some money be sure to let us know.

ATTN PARENTS:  Some parents have expressed having miniature bull riding at some of their local rodeos.  If you are interested please contact Ty O’Hern at (406) 745-8550.  He still has some weekends available for events so contact him if you are interested.

We will be publishing the upcoming rodeo approvals in the next month or so.  We do have a few new ones this year so be watching the Cowboy’s Digest for the dates and entry information.  I will also keep the website (www.rockymountainminibuckers.com) up to date.

If there are any discrepancies in the points or standings please notify me ASAP so that I can get it corrected.  You can reach me at (406) 676-2720 or sdlund@ronan.net.
